Our Balloon

This is the Calgary Balloon Club's newest balloon.
With the help of ICG Propane we were able to purchase this balloon from Cameron Balloons of England

It's an O-77 and can carry 2 passengers and a pilot.

This picture was taken at the Airdrie Airport on Sept. 27, 1997.

This was taken the same day as the photo above. It was Blue Ice's inaugural flight.

Blue Ice is the 8th balloon the Calgary Balloon Club has owned.

This is our "bottom end" sitting on the grass at the Drumheller airport.

This is our club balloon with Searle Sheldon at the blast valve, flying out of Hawk Haven.

It was a beautiful but cold New Year's Day.

ICG is no longer a sponsor of the balloon but we are seeking offers on new sponsorship.
